"SUSTAINABLE FUEL FOR GREEN ENERGY"

20190509_160412_edited_edited_edited.jpg

The objectives of the Paris treaty require a substantial reduction of the use of Fossil Fuel. In some parts of the world this translates into policies aiming to ban the use of coal for energy generation by 2030. The result of such policies are to make serious effort to slow down the rate of global warming, by reducing “additional” CO2 output in the atmosphere.

Other than the production of wood chips from existing jungle, forests or “plantations”, IBS promotes the production of fast growing, yearly harvested bio-mass, consuming large quantities of CO2 from the atmosphere, whilst storing substantial quantities of CO2 and Nitrogen in the root system and soil.

IBS aims are:

  • to make use of existing agricultural lands only

  • to increase yield/hectare

  • to increase income for farmers

  • to minimise the use of chemical fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides

  • to reduce environmental stress

  • to make responsible use of available water resources

It’s methods of growing and processing of bio-mass contributes substantially to the creation of sustainable, long-term, economically viable solutions, realising such energy generation.

With its roots in the Netherlands, IBS operates following the famous Dutch “Polder model”. This implies the early involvement of stake holders, working in close cooperation with or at the request of (local) government, agricultural cooperatives, local farmers, agricultural processors and industrial stakeholders. The objective being to jointly work toward environmentally and economically sustainable solutions in agricultural developments, industrial transition towards energy transformation.
